"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
16 oz. box mostaccioli (cooked) 1 ½ cups cider vinegar 1 ½ cups white sugar 2 T. prepared mustard (yellow) 2 T. dried parsley 4 T. vegetable oil 1 cup diced red onion (or less) 1 cup cucumbers 1 can garbonzo or kidney beans ½ cup green pepper Chopped tomato
Cook and drain pasta. Pour vegetable oil over hot pasta. Mix and dissolve vinegar, sugar, mustard and parsley. Pour over pasta. Add rest of ingredients.
This is a great picnic salad since it doesn't contain mayonaise. It also serves a crowd so it is good for Graduation Parties, etc.
