1 C. Brown Sugar
1 C. Flour
tsp. Salt
tsp. baking soda
C. soft margarine
1 egg
tsp. baking powder
1 C. Oatmeal
1 C. chocolate chips
1 C. whole walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
This recipe can be given as a gift with the dry ingredients layered in a quart size canning jar. Attach these instructions: Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add 1 egg, 1/2 C. margarine and 1 tsp. vanilla; mix well. Drop by the spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
