Crust:
1 C. sifted flour
1/4 C. sugar
1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
1 slightly, beaten egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Filling:
5 (8-ounce) cream cheese 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla 1 C. eggs (4 or 5)
3/4 tsp. grated lemon peel plus 2 egg yolks
1 3/4 C. sugar 1/4 C. whipping
3 tbsp. flour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients. Cut in butter. Add egg yolk, and vanilla. Blend throughly. Put 1/3 of dough on bottom of 10-inch spring form pan, sides removed. Bake in hot oven 400, 8 minutes or till golden. Cool
Attach sides to bottom, butter sides and put remaining on sides to heights of 1 3/4 inches.
Filling:
Let cream cheese softened for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Beat till creamy. Add vanilla and lemon peel. Separately mix sugar, flour, and salt in another bowl. Then add into cheese mixture. Add eggs and egg yolks one at a time, beating after each one. GENTLY stir in whipping cream.
Turn into crust lined pan. Bake at 450 for 12 minutes. Then reduce heat to 300 for 55 minutes. Remove and cool 1/2 hour. Loosen sides with spatula after 1/2 hour. At the end of a hour remove the sides. It takes 2 hours for it to cool before you can cut it.
