"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1/2 C. margarine 1 C. brown sugar 3 C. Rice Krispies 1 C. coconut 1 C. chopped nuts (I use almond) 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream 1 pkg. Danish Dessert 2 C. frozen raspberries
Melt together margarine and brown sugar/ Add Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts. Put 3/4 of this mixture on bottom of 9x13 pan. Save the other 1/4. Slice ice cream into one inch slices and put on top of Rice Krispie mixture, than put remaining 1/4 of mixture on top of ice cream. Freeze until firm.
For topping, make Danish Dessert as directed on package and add raspberries. Cool before serving. This recipe is also good with hot fudge for the topping.
