3 c. sifted flour
1 t. salt
1 1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 egg, slightly beaten
5 T. cold water
1 T. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Add beaten egg and toss together. Put vinegar in water and add. Will be quite soft but you can do anything with it. It also keeps in the refrigerator for several weeks.

I add a little extra flour as I am working with it if I use it right away. After it has been refrigerated, you don't need to do that.
