1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 (2lb) package of frozen hash browns, thawed
2 c. crushed potato chips
1/2 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together, onion, sour cream, soup, cheese, salt and pepper. Press the excess water out of the hash browns and then add them to the soup mixture and mix well.
Transfer to a 9x12 in casserole dish. Sprinkle with potato chips on top and then drizzle with butter.
