Directions:
Slice apples into a shallow pan, and cover with a pie crust. Pour ove it the following sauce:
2 cups water
lemon juice or vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 Tbs. butter
1/2 tsp.cinnamon
cook all together for 5 minutes

Bake dumpling 10 minutes in a hot oven- then continue to bake 35 minutes in a 350 oven.
