2 c. flour
4 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cream of tartar
2 t. sugar
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cream of tartar and soda. Cut in shortening until mixtures forms coarse crumbs. Add milk all at once. Stir until dough forms around fork around bowl.. Pour out onto lightly floured surface. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake @ 450 10-12 min.
