8 medium-size potatoes, finely sliced salt and pepper 8 T. butter 3 c. light cream
Wash potato slices, dry thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper. Butter baking dish. Layer potatoes up to 1/2 inch from top. Place pieces of butter here and there. Cover with light cream Bake in 325º oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
