5 T. margarine, or butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

Coating: Butter , sugar, cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg. Mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 350 This will make 12 regular size muffins which will need to bake 20-25 minutes,OR 24 miniature muffins which will need to bake 15-20 minutes.When done, remove from pan immediately and coat with the following:
6T. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon
Roll hot muffins in butter, then sugar mixture.
