3/4 Cups Sugar
3 Cups Honey
1 1/2 Pounds Poppy Seeds
1 Cup Candy Orange Peel, Diced
2 Cups Walnuts, finely chopped
Confectioners Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2 quart sauce pan, cook honey and sugar over moderate heat until sugar dissolves. Add poppy seeds and boil until mixture reaches hard-crack stage. (300) About 30 mins. Add orange peel, nuts and stir until mixture boils. Turn out onto large platter that has been moisten with water. Flatten syrup with a spatula dipped in hot water. Sprinkle with confectioner sugar. Allow to cool 10 mins. before cutting into squares.
