1 egg
cup milk
1 cup flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking soda
tsp baking powder
tsp salt
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 2 inches of oil to 375 in a 12-inch skillet.

Beat remaining ingredients except powdered sugar until smooth. Holding forefinger over end of funnel, pour about cup batter into funnel. Drip batter, controlling flow with forefinger, into hot oil, swirling it into circles from center out. Fry until light brown, about 2 minutes on each side.

Drain; keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
