1/1/2 cups sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 cups milk
3 eggs
1 heaping tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs-beat egg yolks slightly. Combine dry ingredients in medium size saucepan-mix-add milk and mix. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens (1 use a whisk) and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir almost 1/2 the mixture in a bowl with the egg
yolks. Blend back into saucepan, cooking another minute, Stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla. Mix well and pour into cooled baked pie shell. Let cool and top with cool whip.
