Ingredients:
2 cans chicken broth
1 large bag shredded hasbrown potatoes
1 1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour a small amount of chicken broth in a large sauce pan and add enough flour to make a thick paste. Slowly add the rest of the broth and bring to a boil to allow thickening. Put seasonings in the mixture. Put a cup of the cheese in and stir until melted. Set aside.

Grease a 9"x13" baking dish, then layer the frozen, hasbrown potatoes, shredded cheese and pour a large ladle of the chicken broth mixture last.

When you are to the top of the baking dish, take a knife and make holes in the potato mixture, about six of them spread evenly. Pour remaining broth mixture over the top and pile on the cheese! Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown on the top and bubbly.

Variation: put real bacon bits in the broth mixture or sprinkle between layers and on top
