Ingredients:  
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
1 1/2 c oatmeal (not instant)
2 T water
1 c. jam (we like sugar free, but anything works fine)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together, then add dry ingredients, oats last. Add 1 T water. Pat half into jelly roll pan. Spread with jam. Put remaining water into remaining crumbs. Sprinkle over bars. Bake @ 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut when cool.
