Cake ingredients:
2 C. sugar
1 C. shortening
1 1/2 C. flour
1 C. chpd pecans
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 C. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/3 C. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 C. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. chpd pecans


Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time,and beat well after each addition. Combine flour, cocoa and salt. Add to mixture, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Bake in a greased and floured 9x13 pan for about 35 min. at 300 . Remove from the oven and spread a lg. bag of miniature marshmallows on top while cake is hot. In saucepan heat butter, cocoa and milk. Take off heat and add vanilla and nuts. Mix well and pour over marshmallows while frosting is still hot.
