Directions:
Mix water and yeast; let stand for a minute or so, then add salt, sugar or honey, oil, oatmeal and a few cups of flour. Mix well, then continue adding flour until most of the flour has been mixed in. Knead until smooth and elastic. This is not a really stiff dough, nor is it sticky-somewhere between. Put into oiled bowl, cover and let rise until double. Punch down and let rise again or put into pans with only one rising. Bake at 350 until brown, about 30 minutes, depending upon how large the loaves are.
