Ingredients:  
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 pkg. seeded dates
1 tbls. butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar and milk to a soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add dates. Return to heat to melt dates. Remove from heat and add butter, beat with mixer on high. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into a wet cloth, roll tightly and let cool/harden. Slice and it is ready to eat!
