2 (28 oz.) whole canned tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 T. olive oil
1 T. parsley
1/2 t. basil
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. pasta (linguine is best)
4-6 hot sausage links

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sausage, poking holes in sausage for 20 minutes. Saute onion and garlic in oil. Combine remaining ingredients. Add onion and garlic. Add hot sausage links. Cook 1 1/2 hours without lid. Before serving, remove sausage and slice 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Mix sausage in sauce. Boil pasta. Top pasta with sauce mixture and Romano cheese.
