2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
1/3 c. unbeaten egg yolks (4 medium)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together first four ingredients, add the next 4 ingredients and beat on medium for 2 minutes. Add the last 2 ingredients, beat 2 minutes more. Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
