2 eggs 2 T. oil or melted butter 1 1/2 c. milk 1 T. (yes, tablespoon) vanilla 2 T. sugar 2/3 c. flour 1/4 t. salt 1 loaf French bread, cut thick, stale is fine
Whisk all the ingredients together and dunk slices of bread in it before placing on the griddle. Keep the milk mixture whisked as the flour tends to settle. So yummy, you may want to skip the syrup. :)
