Cake:
4 T cocoa
1 c water
2 sticks REAL butter
2 c flour(self-rising)
2 c sugar
1/2 c buttermilk(NO substitutes)
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Icing:
3 T cocoa
6 T evaporated milk (NO reg. milk or buttermilk)
1 stick REAL butter
1 box powdered sugar (4 cups)
1 tsp vanilla

Cake:
Preheat oven to 350.
Boil cocoa,water, and butter. Add to remaining ingredients and blend well. (Batter will be thin) Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Poke holes in cake with a fork after removing from oven.
Icing:
Boil cocoa, milk, and butter. Add sifted powdered sugar. Add vanilla at the END( it will burn and turn bitter, otherwise). Pour icing (which will seem a little thin) directly on cake, while it is still warm. ENJOY!
