6 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
2 c. cake flour
1 t. cream of tartar
1/2 t. salt
6 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs into 2 large mixing bowls. Add cream of tartar to whites and beat until stiff. Add 1 cup sugar while beating, set aside. In other yolk bowl, add 1 cup sugar, vanilla, and salt while beating till fluffy. Alternately add water and flour to yolk mixture. Folk egg white mixtures into yolk bowl. Pour into ungreased tube pan. Bake @ 350 40 to 50 min., till firm when touched.
