Yeast 1/2 c crisco, melted 1/2 c or more sugar 1 c milk 1 c tap water Flour
Mix yeast in 1/4 c lukewarm water and let set. Mix all other ingredients. Pour yeast in mixture, add flour to make a thin dough. Let rise for 1 hour. Then add flour to make thick dough. Roll out. Butter bottom and tops. Let rise another hour. Cook at 400º till brown.
