"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Pumpernickel Bread Dip, by J Sue Townsend, is from Our Family Cookbook ,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Chill covered overnight. Fill the mixture into a large round loaf of hollowed out Pumpernickel Bread right before serving. Note: Place the dipping pieces of the bread around the loaf on in large serving plate.
The bread's hard to find. Order it from a good bakery.
