1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 cup Splenda
4 slices of French bread (1 inch thick)
2 tsp. margarine
Butter-flavored vegetable cooking spray
1 egg
Sugar-free syrup (optional)
2 egg whites
Assorted fresh berries (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk, 2 tbs. Splenda, margarine, and next three ingredients in an 8-inch square baking dish. Stir well. Arrange bread slices over egg mixture, and let soak 5 minutes on each side. Coat a nonstick griddle with cooking spray, and preheat to 350. Cook bread slices 6 minutes on each side or until golden. Sprinkle evenly with remaining 2 tbs. of Splenda. If desired, serve with sugar free syrup and fresh berries. Note: Yield: 4 servings. If you serve this toast with fresh berries, be sure to count the carbohydrates from the fruit into your meal plan.
