1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
1 C. quick oatmeal
2 beaten eggs
1 C. milk
1/4 C. chopped onion
1 green pepper (optional)
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard
1 can tomato soup

Mix all ingredients except tomato soup. Shape into a loaf and then cover with tomato soup. Bake 1 1/2 hour at 350.

For variation: add 1 cup tomato juice instead of milk and decrease salt to 2 tsp.
