5 c self rising flour
1/4 c warm water
1 t soda
2 c buttermilk
2 pk dry yeast
1/3 c sugar
1 c minus 2 T crisco
3 t baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix warm water with yeast then mix dry ingredients & sift together. Add crisco & mix well. Add yeast mixture and milk and mix together. Cover with a damp cloth & place in refrigerator to rise. After rising, knead dough, roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter. Brush tops with melted butter, cover with wax paper and let stand at room temperature for 2 hours. Bake at 400 until browned.
