2 c. strained pumpkin 3 eggs 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. hot milk 2 T. butter 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Beat eggs and sugar till creamy. Add spices and milk. Place pumpkin in mixing bowl and add egg mix and beat well. Sprinkle pastry with 2 T. chopped pecans and 1 T. butter. Fill with pumpkin mix. Bake at 350º. When pie is done, sprinkle with remaining pecans and melted butter.
