2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
6 T. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and measure; add salt. Blend shortening with four until cornmeal consistency. Sprinkle cold water, 1 T. at a time, over mix. With a fork, press the flour particles together as they absorb the water. Do Not stir! With your hands and fingers, press all the flour particles together to form a ball. Chill thoroughly. Roll out and place in pie pans. Bake on top rack of the oven at 450.
