2 bars Baker's German sweet chocolate
1 T. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans

Directions:

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water, stir and cool. Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar 1 T. at a time. Beat until thick (5 min.with an electric mixer). Blend in chocolate. Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon, blend. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 till cookies feel "set" when lightly touched.
