1/4 c. softened butter 2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt
4 eggs 2 tbsp. of cornmeal
1/4 c. milk 1 unbaked (9-in.) pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
cream butter and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Add milk, .vanilla, salt and cornmeal. Mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
