2 tbsp. fat
1 envelope of onion soup mix
4 large beef short ribs, cut in to sections
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup diced celery
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Heat fat in a large saucepan or dutch oven and brown ribs well on all sides.Drain excess fat. Combine soup mix, vinegar,brown sugar, ketchup, water, mustard, celery and salt. Simmer covered turning occassionaly for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
