2 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/4 inch thickness
flour
4 TB. butter, divided
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 TB. flour
1 C. chicken broth
1 1/4 tsp. fresh tarragon or 1/4 tsp. dried tarragon
1/2 C. half and half
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Dredge chicken breasts in flour and brown in 2 TB. butter. Remove chicken to platter. Add remaining butter and saute mushrooms in same skillet. Sprinkle mushrooms with 2 TB. flour and blend well. Gradually add chicken broth, then tarragon. Cook until thickened. Slowly add half and half and season with salt and pepper. Return chicken to skillet and heat through. Sauce should be only slightly thick. Serve over a bed of cooked noodles.
