2 c. flour
1 c. granulated or packed brown sugar
3/4 c. margarine, melted, cooled
1 T. anise or vanilla flavoring
2 t. baking powder
4 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Heat pizzelle iron according to directions. Mix all ingredients. Drop 1 tablespoon butter onto each design of heated pizzelle iron; close iron. Bake about 30 seconds or until golden brown. Carefully remove pizzelle from iron. If desired, cut cookie into fourths; dip either end into melted chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cool on wire rack. Repeat with remaining batter. Yield: 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
