Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

2 c. self-rising flour
4 semi-heaping t. COLD Crisco


Broth Mixture:
3 cans Sweet Sue chicken broth (or homemade broth)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 stick margarine
2 boiled chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix dumpling ingredients until crumbly like meal. Add milk until mixed into firm dough. Bring broth mixture to rolling boil. Roll out dough 1/2 at a time until thin on well floured wax paper. Cut in small pieces and drop into boiling broth mixture. Turn down heat and let simmer for 15 minutes without stirring. Add shredded chicken breast to pot. Stir and serve.
