White or wheat bread toasted

Sauce:
2 tbsp. marg
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. sliced ham cut-up
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt marg. over medium heat, add flour, salt and pepper, cook until paste forms. Add milk, stir until lumps dissolve into a white sauce, add ham, cook till ham is heated.

Serve over toast.

Mama cooked this for us growing up. She usually used chipped beef. I make it a lot now that I am a bachelor. I use chipped ham and if I don't have any ham I just make cream. I make toast and then I pour the creamed ham or cream over it. Of course, I usually have to double the recipe so there is enough for me and Colt.
