2 cups of sugar
2/3 cup of milk
2 tbsp.cornsyrup
1 tbsp. Butter
1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar,cornsyrup and milk to soft ball stage,add butter and boil 1 min. longer,add vanilla and beat until smooth,put into a buttered pan and cut into squares.

Personal Notes:
A candy thermometer is best. Soft ball stage means,drop a small amount in a glass of cold water,if it sticks together and can form a ball it's ready
