5 large green tomatos
2 cups flour 1tbsp. salt 1 tsp. ground black pepper 2 eggs 1/4 cup milk
3 cups bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese 2 tbsp.dried parsley
zest 1 orange
Vegetable oil for frying

Cut tomatos in thick slices.
You will need 3 bowls.
Put flour,salt and pepper in one.
Put milk and eggs in 2nd. Put bread crumbs and cheese in 3rd.
Dredge in flour then egg and finally bread crumbs.
Fry in oil until crispy and brown on both sides.
Drain on paper towels. Eat while still hot
