2/3 c. shortening/butter
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 T. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. unsweetened baking cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Cream shortening/butter, brown sugar, water and vanilla in large bowl. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until cookies are set. Do not overbake. Cookies will appear soft and moist. Cool for 2 minutes before moving.
