1 c. butter, unsalted, room temperature
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. powdered sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and powdered sugar together. Add the flour and salt. Blend in nuts. Cover and chill dough for at least 1 hour, up to 6. When the dough is pliable, roll into walnut sized pieces and place on a greased baking sheet (or use parchment paper).
Bake 8-12 minutes, checking early, until bottoms are pale golden. Let cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar. Roll cookies again in powdered sugar once cooled.
