1/2cup pickle relish 3 green onions, including tops, or 1/2 yellow onion, finely chopped 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) 1tablespoon mustard 2/3 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar 1 small head green cabbage, shredded (about 8 cups) 1 carrot, peeled and grated Salt and ground black pepper
In a big bowl, stir together all the ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to mellow the flavors before serving.
Put a couple of spoonfuls of slaw on a smoked pulled pork shoulder sandwich.
