1 C warm apple sauce
C shortening or lard
1 tsp soda
Stir above ingredients together.
Add:
2 C flour
raisins
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves or allspice
1 tsp ginger

Directions:

Mix all together. Drop cookies on baking sheet, bake at 325 until done (11-12 min)
