4 cups apples, sliced
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup oil
1 cup nuts, chopped (walnuts or pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine apples and sugar. Let stand hour. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add to apple mixture. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 45 to 60 minutes.
