1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/3 cup honey
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups quick cooking or regular oats
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup almonds, sliced
1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
