3/4 cup shortening (or 1 cube butter & 1/4 cup shortening)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
2 TLB Flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & powdered sugar. Blend in 1 1/2 cup flour. Press evenly in bottom of un-greased baking pan 9 x 13. Bake 12 - 15 min - 350 degrees. Mix remaining ingredients.spread over hot baked layer and bake 20 minutes longer. Cool. Cut into bars about 3 x 2 inch. makes 32 bars
