Ingredients: 1 Cup Brown Sugar 1 Cup White Sugar 2 cubes butter 1 pkg Fruitcake Mix 1 lb. raisins 1 lb. currants 1 lb. gumdrops - cut in pieces 1 lb. walnuts & pecans 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups fruit juice 1 bottle marachino Cherries cut in fourths 1 qt flour 2 tsp. soda 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1 tsp. Nutmeg 1/2 tsp. Allspice 1/2 tsp Cloves

Directions: |
Directions:Mix sugars, butter, eggs and fruit juice together. In another pan mix flour, soda & spices. Add to flour mixture & coat well: raisins, currants, gumdrops, nuts, cherries. Mix all together. Place in linve loaf tins. Bake at 300 degrees for 1/2 hour then 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hour. Cook, then soak in maraschio cherry juice ....see directions in this cook book under Fruit Cake Juice. |
