1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter-shortening mix. Let chill in refrigerator (at least 1 hour). Roll into balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes.
Cool on rack.
