2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
3 Tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup cola drink
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
miniature marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
This cake is to be mixed by hand. Sift sugar and flour together in large bowl. Combine butter, shortening, cocoa and cola and heat until butter is melted. Pour over flour mixture and stir well. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well and spoon into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 about 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Top with miniature marshmallows and return to oven just long enough for the marshmallows to melt. While hot, top with Cola Topping.

Cola Topping:
1/2 cup butter
6 Tbsp cola drink
3 Tbsp cocoa
1 pound powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped

About five minutes before cake is done, combine butter, cola, and cocoa and bring to boil. Stir in other ingredients and pour over hot cake.
