1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 lb. ground beef
2 (16-oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. sweet basil (dried)
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 tsp. oregano (dried)
1 clove garlic, minced, or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Saute beef; add macaroni, onion and green pepper. Stir until macaroni is slightly golden. Drain excess fat. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer covered, for 20 minutes. Uncover; stir and simmer for several minutes more.
Serves 4 to 6.
